Home > Current Issues & initiatives | Letter from the Co-Chairs June / July 2010 Letter from the Co-Chairs June / July 2010  Dear MLGBA members, As we complete another MLGBA year, it’s time to say thank you and farewell to some dedicated volunteers and welcome others as new members of the board of directors. On behalf of my cochair, David Eppley and the entire board, I wish a sincere thank you to Ragini Shah, Emilie Curtis, Neal Minahan, and John Koss for all their hard work and commitment to the MLGBA over the years. We will miss them on the board, but look forward to their continued involvement in association business and events. An especially big thank you is in order for David, who will be leaving the board after a long tenure, serving two years of that as co-chair. His presence on the board and his leadership of the association will be missed. Our annual meeting was held on June 23 and a new board was elected. Returning to the board for another year are Charles Chambers Jr, Lisa Wilson, Jennifer Collins, Polly Crozier, Laura Langley, Tim Lynch, Matt Sample, Richard Moore and Jane Rothchild. Joining the board as new members are Rolando Medina, Daniel Levin, Will Evans and M. Barusch. It looks to be an exciting year ahead with an energetic and invigorated board leading the MLGBA. We will elect new co-chairs this month, and that news will be announced via eBlast once the results are in.We look forward to seeing you all at the Law Student Reception on September 21, 2010 (see p. 10 for more details) and wish you a fun-filled and relaxing summer!
